Nina Juric is an artist, designer, technologist and creative director working in time based media environments and space complexities. She is challenging high conceptual formats, products, design systems of contemporary audiovisual aesthetics with a background in postdigital media art, filmmaking, animation, live audio visual performances, generative design and interactive motion studies. Her work body is dedicated to sensual combinatorics and spatial relationships in context of creative technology & immersion. She is investigating on questions related to loop holes and time boxes, nowness <> non-linearity, moving surrealities, realtime body/embodiment, acting patterns and common grounds. She is maneuvering between explorative ways of artistic expression, subversive mechanics of creative industries, experimental capitalism and socio-cultural entrepreneurship.

She is a professor for integrated design and head of the teaching and research area Image & Motion at Köln International School of Design, as well as teacher at Zürcher Hochschule der Künste.

With her studio Letters Are My Friends, Berlin’s first typographic concept store and research lab where type meets new technologies, she coined the term type and tech and acts in this realm.
